Telemedicine Partnership lets Local Shriners Patients Skip the Road Trip

For children needing follow-up medical care, traveling hours for a 10-minute health check-up is often impractical.  That is why the Cincinnati's Shriners Hospital for Children and the University of Southern Indiana (USI) have joined together to offer telemedicine services for children in the tri-state area.

According to the article, “the Shriners purchased telemedicine technology that resides at USI, enabling Shriners patients to receive follow-up care from their physicians without the inconvenience of travel.”
